What good would a satellite GPS beacon be if you were 100 meters underground. Oh well, i’m sure there is plenty of other disaster scenarios that would require a MicroFix Beacon.

Imagine how cool you would be when all your friends are lost during a hiking expedition. Not that this happens often but hey “You never know…”. You can track everything from the time you left to the time. Track your speed of travel and far you have come. It’s not everyday that you get so much value out of a GPS unit that is so tiny. The SUUNTO comes with PC software for uploading info and a lithium battery and usb adapter cable. The device is water resistant up to 350 feet and has a digital barometer that can tell you the temperature and absolute pressure. This is definitely on my Christmas wish list this year.
